This extraordinary 1990 Mercedes-Benz 250GD Wolf V5 is a completely restored and modernized classic G-Wagen built by Expedition Motor Company. Finished in stunning EMC Racing Green over a custom Chestnut weatherproof interior, this bespoke open-top G-Class combines the rugged military heritage of the original Mercedes-Benz Wolf with extensive restoration work and a significantly more modern powertrain.
According to Expedition Motor Company, more than 2,500 man-hours went into restoring this individual truck, making it far more than a typical vintage G-Wagen. It is powered by an upgraded OM605a turbodiesel engine paired with a 5-speed 722.6 automatic transmission, providing a much more usable driving experience while retaining the unmistakable character of the original W461 G-Class.
